Team #10: John Deere Hoist

In John Deere Harvester Works, lots of manufacturing is taking place using hoists. These hoists are a crucial part of many of the processes. With these pieces being so important, maintenance and down time for the hoists is crucial. For this reason, the plant needs to be preventative instead of reactive when fixing the hoists. To accomplish this, we will use wireless technology to read and accurately predict when any given hoist is in need of maintenance, which will reduce downtime and increase overall production efficiency in the plant
