The Audio Engineering concentration provides students in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) and Computer Engineering Technology (CET) with a focused pathway in the design, analysis and implementation of modern audio systems.
Through a combination of analog electronics, integrated circuit applications and digital signal processing, students develop the technical competencies required to design, build, test and optimize professional-grade audio hardware and embedded audio systems.
The concentration emphasizes:
- Audio signal transduction and amplification

- Real-time digital signal processing
- Measurement, testing and performance evaluation
- Computer-aided circuit and DSP analysis
Students gain hands-on experience designing complete audio signal chains—from microphone input through processing and amplification to loudspeaker output.
The Smart Manufacturing concentration prepares students to design, implement and optimize modern industrial automation systems that integrate control, data, connectivity and analytics. This concentration bridges traditional industrial control with emerging Industry 4.0 technologies, equipping graduates with the technical depth required to support advanced manufacturing environments.
