Dr. Smriti Bhatt is an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity in the School of Applied and Creative Computing at �鶹��Ʒ. She has received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and did her doctoral research at the Institute for Cyber Security (ICS) and NSF CREST Center for Security and Privacy Enhanced Cloud Computing (C-SPECC). Dr. Bhatt's research focuses on: 1) Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Supply Chain; 2) Network, Cloud, Edge and Mobile Computing Security; 3) Smart and Connected Ecosystems, Smart or Digital Health; 4) Human-Centered & Social Cybersecurity; 5) AI and Machine Learning applications and security; and 6) Cybersecurity Education. Her research interests also include the application of AI and Machine Learning to secure IoT and CPS infrastructures in various application domains, such as Smart Health, Smart Home, Supply Chain, and Wearable IoT. Her current research work also includes Agentic AI applications and security. She has several conference and journal publications and continues to serve as an expert reviewer for journals and on technical program committees for conferences and workshops. Her research is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Institute of Justice (NIJ). Dr. Bhatt is a Senior Member of IEEE.
