In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?
Purdue's Cybersecurity and INET curriculum provided me with a holistic mastery of networking and infrastructure, deeply grounded in the fundamental technologies that drive today's digital landscape. What sets this program apart is its unique plan of study, which moves beyond theory to offer direct, hands-on experience with the same industry-standard equipment and software encountered in the professional world.
Beyond the technical rigor, one of the most rewarding aspects of my time at Purdue was the opportunity to lead a student organization that worked in close partnership with the department. This role was an invaluable catalyst for my growth, allowing me to bridge the gap between academic life and industry expectations. It was a privilege to sharpen my own leadership abilities while empowering my peers, helping them navigate their professional development and achieve their own career goals.
