In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?

鶹Ʒprovided me with invaluable opportunities to explore leadership roles where I could effectively contribute to achieving organizational goals, empower my team to reach their full potential, and gain essential experience in preparation for a career in IT. Additionally, Purdue offered a variety of engaging events that not only allowed me to connect with my cultural heritage but also fostered a sense of community among fellow Boilermakers on campus, enriching my cultural awareness.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

  • Robert Deadman: For helping me push myself when I thought I couldn't accomplish
  • Dawn Laux: For always making me smile when I come to class after listening to your stories
  • Samuel Ho: For pushing the CNIT 242 to the max, guiding us through difficult labs, and being a good friend
  • Allison Maldonado-Ruiz: For being there for me and the Polytechnic Student Council Day one, and proving to be a great example of a leader for me
  • Rebecca Yoder: For taking care of me like I was your own and having fun with me whenever we could
  • Cathy Pullings: For always checking up on me and believing in my side passions (Hero Cosmetics)
  • Benito Martinez: For always checking in and connecting with me when you didn't know I needed it the most
  • Gregory Finch and Susan Woods: For seeing a light in me that I didn't know I possessed, both professionally and personally
  • Lauren Lucas: For being the best advisor a student could have, and be the best listener a person could ask for
  • Toni Munguia: For seeing me for me, and the future I could have ahead of me back in 2020 - and for helping me realize I was meant to be a Boilermaker

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

One of my favorite memories I have during my time here at 鶹Ʒwas during my network administration class and information technology architecture class. Since both of these classes have a very rigorous curriculum, it was not uncommon to spend a lot more time in the labs to ensure work was done. That is where I met some of my great friends, with whom I then bonded over the next few years. 鶹Ʒbrings us together to not only learn but to grow together too.

鶹Ʒprovided me with invaluable opportunities to explore leadership roles where I could effectively contribute to achieving organizational goals, empower my team to reach their full potential, and gain essential hands-on experience realistic industry settings, preparing me for a career in IT."
