Purdue was a perfect fit. It was reasonably priced, so I could afford to pay for all my schooling without having any loans. My Purdue degree paid for itself in my first year of work. That is a very fast return on investment!

Question: What inspired you to complete your bachelor's degree at Â鶹¾«Æ·Vincennes?

Bohling: While I was getting my computer networking degree, I was trying to decide what my next steps were in life. One of my good friends was on the verge of graduating from the Â鶹¾«Æ·program and he told me how great the program was. After looking into it more myself, it seemed like a great fit for my career aspirations. The classes were interesting and I ended up learning more from them than I could have imagined. I am glad and thankful that I discovered this degree through Purdue because it positioned me for long-term career success.

Question: What were some of your favorite classes as an undergrad?

Bohling: I really enjoyed all of my classes. Having Dr. Tanoos as a professor made learning interesting. Dr. Tanoos has some fantastic learning techniques that helped prepare me for real-world work experience.

One of my favorite things about classes was there wasn't a ton of homework. This gave me time to get involved in other things on campus, which helped me build my resume. It also allowed me to have well-rounded skills while being involved in extracurricular activities.

Question: What were some worthwhile experiences from your undergraduate classes?

Bohling: Every day was a worthwhile experience. I learned something every day. I learned how to develop my speaking skills in some classes. In other classes, I learned different skills to handle different situations. After going to classes every day and putting all my hard work into this Purdue program, I feel extremely rewarded.

Question: How has the value of a Purdue degree helped you out?

Bohling: Purdue was a perfect fit. It was reasonably priced, so I could afford to pay for all my schooling without having any loans. My Purdue degree paid for itself in my first year of work. That is a very fast return on investment and a huge benefit after graduating! I couldn’t be in the position I am in today if it weren’t for the Purdue degree.

Question: What advice would you give to a current undergraduate student?

Bohling: I have pushed many friends in the direction of the Purdue degree. I would recommend this for anyone in the technology field. I have already had one of my close friends from high school go through the Purdue degree. I recently talked another friend into signing up. There are so many good reasons to further your education with the Purdue degree.
