Undergraduate students in Â鶹¾«Æ·’s Polytechnic Institute presented research projects at the 2021 Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Exposition in November.

Purdue’s Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) recognized several Â鶹¾«Æ·students for first, second and third place research presentations and posters during OUR’s spring 2021 undergraduate research conference.

A variety of Â鶹¾«Æ·students participated in Purdue’s 2020 Spring Undergraduate Research Conference.

Nathan Kanter, a student double-majoring in data visualization and web programming and design, was awarded top abstract at a Purdue conference for his research into the connection between systematic lupus erythematosus and the progress through puberty during adolescence.

Â鶹¾«Æ·students are researching collegiate pilots’ lifestyle habits, foundational game theory and Lyme disease instances in cities.

The City of Columbus announced the launch of a web-based train status page that will allow residents to determine if a train is approaching the intersection of Indiana State Roads 11 and 46. The technology behind the page was designed by Isaiah Bowman, a senior in computer and information technology at Â鶹¾«Æ·Columbus.
