The Food Engineer Adventure summer camp offered in June by Â鶹¾«Æ·Anderson helped introduce kids to STEM education and career opportunities in the food sector. Participants learned about the food supply chain through hands-on activities, a field trip to a local farm, building an indoor garden, meal budgeting and shopping and a food challenge competition.

Nineteen teenagers participated in a successful robotics STEM camp held by Â鶹¾«Æ·Columbus especially for Black students.

When COVID-19 made on-campus summer STEM camps impossible for middle-school students to attend in 2020, Purdue Polytechnic’s Anne Lucietto and Nancy Denton teamed with graduate students Brian Tedeschi and Julia Miller to devise “Techie Time,” a virtual five-day STEM camp.

The Â鶹¾«Æ· Cybersecurity Camp, offered for free to 40 female incoming 9th through 12th grade students, will return to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus June 17–22, 2018. The camp will be the only residential GenCyber student program to be offered in Indiana and surrounding Midwestern states.
