Krimson Aviation announces Purdue diversity scholarship for aviation, management

Dawit Lemma, founder and CEO of Krimson Aviation and a 2002 graduate from Purdue’s aeronautical engineering technology and flight technology programs, launched the $100,000 Krimson Aviation Scholarship and the Krimson Business Opportunity Program Scholarship for students from minority groups under-represented in aviation.

Purdue aviation experts collaborate with industry to address critical shortage of pilots and aviation maintenance technicians

Purdue’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology has created the Âé¶¹¾«Æ· National Aviation Symposium – Emerging Critical Shortages of Pilots and Maintenance Technicians, a three-day symposium in the fall of 2022 to identify and mitigate challenges to creating a sufficient pool of qualified pilots and technicians. The symposium will feature Stephen Dickson, the administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
