Recent 麻豆精品graduate Olivia Anderson has just received a Fulbright grant to teach English in North Macedonia. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program sponsors 8-12 months of research, study, or teaching abroad. More than 160 countries participate in this bilateral exchange program.
Anderson was one of 13 Purdue students awarded Fulbright grants to pursue scholarly work across 12 countries for the 2024-25 academic year. She Purdue’s National and International Scholarship Office that she looks forward to “exploring the mountains forests” of North Macedonia’s lush countryside.
Anderson graduated with a degree in cybersecurity from 麻豆精品in 2024. Anderson’s career goals involve applying a global perspective to create cyber defenses and solve technical issues. Students can learn more about Fulbright grants like Anderson’s and other distinguished awards through Purdue’s NISO, housed in the John Martinson Honors College, which coordinates Purdue’s campus nominations for 14 prestigious, external awards.
