Team 50 - Kinetic Dispersion Tester

This project is sponsored by:

The purpose of the Kinetic Dispersion Tester (KDT) is to give users, specifically the U.S. Army, a tool that accurately monitors and records impact data on the human body created by the impact of high-speed, lethal projectiles. The successful creation of the KDT would aid in the study and development of effective ballistic projectiles along with the development of equipment to defend against the very same projectiles.

Project Details

Problem Statement

Our project introduces a sensor-integrated gelatin system to capture real-time pressure data during impact, offering a more precise analysis of internal damage and improving military safety and effectiveness.
